Third lesson.

REMINDER: Bring Art file (yellow) to school

All pupils will be keeping their Art file (yellow) in school from Week 5. They be doing filing of their artwork soon.

Week 4: secondary colours

The pupils created secondary colours by mixing two of the primary colours. Can your children name the secondary colours?

IMPORTANT: Bring these items in Week 5
1) strips of newspaper kept in a bag
2) white glue (you can make your own glue by cooking starch but the artwork MIGHT get eaten by bugs...or turned mouldy in room temperature after a few days)
3) a balloon (round) 

We will be making paper mache mask for the next few lessons.

Week 4: Occupations

The pupils discussed about occupations this week. Take a look at their drawings and guess their job!

Reminder to all P2 pupils: Bring colouring materials in Week 5.

How to Poison An Art Teacher

Poisonous Words like... I forgot to bring or I did not bring or I don't have...will make an art teacher feels unwell.

Please help the teachers to work in a safe environment.

Parents, please help to remind your children to bring the basic art supplies for their art classes. I do keep some art supplies in school for children to use if they forget to bring theirs.  While these supplies may not be exorbitant to replace, the costs of these supplies come entirely from my own pocket for the convenience of your child. It is unfair to borrow any item from another child because he/ she did not have the materials. I understand that some children might forget to bring things occasionally but I've been noticing some 'familar' faces...

On another note, I really appreciate the children's effort for bringing their art supplies and handing in their artwork on time. :)

Week 3

P3 pupils will need to hand in their paper dragons by this Friday, 20 Jan. They can place their finished work (Please ensure that they are dry) in the box at their respective classrooms.

Art Club

This week, the children learnt to draw birds. The main idea of this lesson is for them to explore colouring to create the 3D effect on their drawings.

Things to bring in Week 5:

Mr Ng reminded all Art Club pupils to bring in pictures of birds in the next lesson. You can bring in resources like books/ magazines/ newspaper clippings for sharing.

Teachers' pigeon holes



Teachers' pigeon holes just outside the staffroom at level 2.



Each teacher has a pigeon hole for putting books/ worksheets. If your child needs to hand in something urgently, get them to put it on the shelf that's labelled with the teacher's name.
